Yoga for Core & Pelvic Health for New Moms (+Babies)!
mama+babe yoga is a specialized program offered by Body Mind Fitness at our studio in London, Ontario. This postnatal yoga session is perfect for new mom’s looking to ease back into physical activity with strategies for managing Core & Pelvic Health while connecting with their baby through movement and breath (but anyone is welcome).
You have recently introduced your tiny human to the world and have taken sometime to and you leave your 6 week appointment with the "OK" from your care provider to return to physical activity - BUT WAIT!
Your body has just gone through an incredible journey that required some time to rest and recover. Getting back into shape isn’t as simple as diving back into where you stopped exercising, even if you exercised right up until your due date. That’s where mama+babe Yoga for Core & Pelvic Health comes in.
This class combines yoga poses and strength movements, breath work, and myofascial release to bring functional strength back and restore your core and pelvic floor, so you can start or return to the things you love without experiencing symptoms of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction (PFD).
mama + babe Yoga is a 55 minute class.
Body Mind Fitness provides weekly Small Group Classes that are Prenatal and Postnatal Friendly in London, Ontario that run as Pre-Registered Sessions at a discounted price. You are more than welcome to attend on a "drop in" basis when space is available and can reserve your spot online up to 15 minutes before the start of class.
What is the benefit Small Groups? The beauty of Small Group classes, is the ability to receive individualized attention that you would not receive in a larger yoga class. So, the more I get to know you, the more I can help YOU discover what you need and how to get there.
