Have you ever felt a pull toward something bigger in your yoga practice - something beyond just moving through the poses? Maybe you've thought about teaching but feel unsure of where to start. Or perhaps you simply want to dive deeper into your practice, understanding the "why" behind the movements, the breath, and the philosophy that makes yoga so much more than just exercise.
This is exactly why I created Body Mind Fitness's Fundamentals of Yoga: 200-Hour Teacher Training, a comprehensive, down-to-earth, and supportive program that integrates the wisdom of leading figures in the yoga and fitness industry worldwide. This program is designed to give you the confidence, skills, and deep understanding of yoga and will transform both your practice and your life. Based out of Lambeth, London, Ontario, my transformative yoga school, strives toempower individuals by embracing yoga as a way of life and share their authentic practice with the world.
Our 200hr Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) is led by the Experienced Yoga Teacher ®️Dominique Gauthier (thats me 😄!!), and certified by Yoga Alliance. With over 15 years of industry experience and as a seasoned business owner, I offer a holistic perspective in this comprehensive training.
Personalized Learning in a Supportive Small Group:At Body Mind Fitness, we don't do "one-size-fits-all." This training is small, intimate, and hands-on, so you get the individual attention you need to grow as a student and a teacher.
Practical, Real-World Teaching Skills: A lot of teacher trainings leave students feeling overwhelmed or unsure of how to actually teach. Not this one. You'll graduate with the confidence to lead a class, adapt poses for different bodies, and teach in a way that feels natural to YOU.
Strong Foundation in Anatomy & Movement: Many trainings skim over anatomy, but understanding the body is key to being a great teacher (and avoiding injuries!). You'll gain a deep understanding of movement, alignment, and how yoga can truly support the body-whether your goal is to teach or simply enhance your own practice.
A Down-to-Earth Approach to Yoga Philosophy: No fluff, no intimidating lectures. Just real conversations about yoga's history, philosophy, and how to bring these teachings into your life and practice in a way that feels meaningful.
Learn to Teach from the Heart: Whether you want to teach or not, this training will help you find your voice, trust yourself, and step into your power-on the mat and beyond.
International Recognition: My school is proudly registered with Yoga Alliance, the largest professional association for yoga teachers and schools. Graduates automatically qualify to become Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT) with Yoga Alliance under the new Elevated RYS 200 Standards.
Whether your goal is to teach or simply immerse yourself in the practice you love, this training is here to support you every step of the way. Let's do this together-I can't wait to support you on this journey!
