Feeling stressed, stiff, or wound a little too tight — but convinced you “can’t do yoga” because you’re not flexible? I’ve got a class for that.
Maybe well-meaning friends keep telling you that you need yoga.
Maybe you picture a room full of human pretzels and quietly decide it’s not for you.
That’s fair. I wouldn’t want to go to that class either.
This is not that class. Come try it out on Mondays, In-person in London (Lambeth) Ontario, or Online.
Prenatal & Postnatal Friendly · CO-ED
Let’s get this out of the way: no, you don’t need to be flexible to take this class.
If touching your toes is a goal, great — this will help you work toward it.
If it’s not, also great.
Yoga for Stretch + Release is about helping your body feel softer, looser, and more at ease — not forcing it into shapes it’s not ready for.
This class blends gentle yoga with elements of self-massage, mobility work, and recovery-focused movement. Some of it might feel unfamiliar. Some of it might feel delightfully strange. All of it is designed to help you release tension in a way that actually feels good.
Yoga can be incredibly beneficial, but many poses can feel inaccessible or frustrating, especially for beginners. This class takes a different approach — one that prioritizes comfort, safety, and ease.
Think less “push harder,” more “ohhh… that’s better.”
This isn’t my usual blend of yoga and strength, and that’s intentional. Even the best strength programs need recovery time.
You asked for a gentler option. I listened.
This class is designed to complement the other offerings at the studio beautifully, helping your body unwind so you can feel more balanced overall. You’ll leave feeling calm, collected, and quietly confident — not drained or overstretched.
Also yes, some of the things we do might feel a little weird. But weird in a good way. Recovery-focused weird.
It’s also CO-ED, which means you can come with your partner… or send them to class while you stay home, wrapped in a blanket, watching your latest binge-worthy show. Both are excellent choices.
Prenatal and postnatal students are always welcome, with thoughtful modifications offered along the way.
Yoga for Stretch + Release runs as a 12-Week Series, allowing the class to evolve gradually and thoughtfully. That consistency helps your body relax into the work and actually benefit from it over time.
Once registration closes, any remaining spots open for Drop-Ins. Drop-ins are a great way to test the waters if committing feels like a lot right now. Just note that drop-ins don’t include the same personalization or member perks as the full series.
.
While drop-ins are made available when registration closes, the benefits of signing up for the full series won't be found at any other yoga studio. When you register for the 12-Week Series, you'll receive:
Payment plans are available if needed.
If your body has been asking for relief — quietly or loudly — this class is a really good place to listen.
This isn’t about pushing. It’s about releasing.
Register for the 12-Week Series or begin with a Drop-In once registration closes and ease your way in.
